Mafalda von Hessen (1902–1944) wird mit ihrem Ehemann Philipp Prinz von Hessen 1943 nach Buchenwald deportiert. Ihr Ehemann wird verdächtigt, mit der italienischen Königsfamilie am Sturz Mussolinis beteiligt zu sein.
