1922 is a 2017 Netflix original film, based on the novella of the same name by Stephen King from the collection Full Dark, No Stars. The film stars Thomas Jane as Wilfred James, a Nebraska farmer and self-proclaimed "conniving man" who decides that Murder Is the Best Solution when his stubborn wife Arlette ( Molly Parker ) resolves to sell the land he cherishes.
