Our pre-school is for children aged 3-years-old and entry to preschool is from the term following the child’s third birthday. We run a lunch club (additional cost) and have 30 hour funded spaces available (limited). Please contact the school office for more information. Our Nursery is open Term Time only and follows the Schools set holidays.
Primary Curriculum Intent 2023-2024. At present the curriculum is thematic and is currently being redesigned at KS1 and KS2 around ‘Big Questions’, to provide cross-curricular links which will deepen pupils’ understanding and spark their curiosity. All pupils are taught the full-breadth of the National Curriculum by their class teacher.

Primary to Secondary. At Bournville Primary Provision we take pride in aiming for all our children to be excellent readers, writers and mathematicians as they move through to Bournville Secondary Provision. We believe in traditional values in all areas of school life which allows learning and progress for each child to be at the heart of it.
Inspection report: Bournville School 10 and 11 November 2021 3 Most pupils have positive attitudes to learning and are keen to do well. Attendance has improved and most pupils attend regularly. However, too many pupils are regularly late to school. The school’s efforts to address this issue has had only limited success to date.

They say that teachers know them well and that this helps to make them feel safe. The school has high expectations of pupils and they receive help to learn how to live up to these.
