9 mar 2007 · 300 cops a lot of flak for being all style and no substance, and I'm not gonna stand here and lie to you by refuting that. What I will say however, is that style over substance does not inherently make a movie bad. 300 is a lot of fun, you get what's going on, and there's some genuine rewatch value. Final rating:★★★½ - I really liked it.

Il nulla su schermo. 300 è il trionfo dell'assenza di contenuti, del digitale raffazzonato, della sciatteria più spicciola ma soprattutto di un'estetica videoclippara e patinata che annienta qualsiasi bellezza visiva. Un imbarazzante esempio di incapacità da parte di Zack Snyder. Questa non è Sparta, al massimo è la morte del cinema epico.

25 mar 2007 · Ma messaggio politico a parte, “300” è un’esperienza visiva che piacerà al grande pubblico: Snyder ha portato sullo schermo l’epica del mondo antico in un film maschio che non lesina quanto a sangue e crudeltà. Per i fan di Miller sarà una vera delizia, per i cinefili uno sguardo sul futuro della settima arte.
