Millfield. Millfield is the largest co-educational boarding school in the UK, situated in 240 acres of grounds. REQUEST INFORMATION.. KEY INFORMATION: Millfield has 1250 pupils of which 930 are full boarders and the Prep School has 450 pupils of which 125 are full boarding. Boarding is available from age 7.

Millfield School is not especially academically selective. The academic results are more than decent considering: in 2023, GCSE results yielded 41% 9-7 grades and A-Levels a decent enough 29% A-grades. Bottom line is though that Millfield School’s focus lies with sport, not academic hothousery.

Millfield is a full boarding school with over 250 international students from 75 different countries, and a further 250 British students whose home is abroad, amongst its 1330 student body.
