18 ott 2023 · Marcus Coloma took over the role in October 2019, and his fans were disappointed when, as his run was wrapping up in January 2023, he was recast and couldn’t tape Nik’s final scenes himself. Instead, Adam Huss, who had stepped in for Coloma in September 2021 and November 2022, took over again.
6 giu 2023 · Tyler Christopher, played the part on and off from 1996-2016, while Marcus Coloma was the most recent on-contract actor to take on the role from 2019-2022. He last aired in January of 2023. After his exit, Adam Huss took over the role, once again (he had previously subbed for Coloma) until the part was written out, for now.

There were a few times where he dealt with COVID-19, and had to be temporarily recast by actor Adam Huss . In December 2022, Soap Hub reported that Coloma was leaving "General Hospital," amidst rumors that his exit wasn't very smooth, and that he'd been fired and refused to film his final scenes.

Tuesday, October 17th, 2023. Credit: ABC. When Marcus Coloma wrapped up his run as General Hospital ‘s Nikolas, few were expecting it to end quite as quickly as it did. The actor had returned from a hiatus after contracting COVID, only for us to learn shortly after that Nikolas would be departing and Coloma wouldn’t be filming his last scenes.
