Berenger is excellent as well. The actress who plays Henrikson's daughter is very good, and the child actors are perfect--straight out of a Tom Sawyer flick. This film starts out weird and almost too slow and too dreamlike, until the action begins in the town of Hesperus, then things smooth out.
