Julius "Julie" Schwartz (June 19, 1915 – February 8, 2004) was a longtime editor at DC Comics. Swchwartz oversaw the silver age reboot of the Justice League heroes. He is also known for overseeing the development of "New Look" Batman with artist Carmine Infantino and writer Gardner Fox.

Together in 1932 they published what may have been the first true Fanzine , The Time Traveller , and also the later fanzine Science Fiction Digest , which in 1934 became Fantasy Magazine , though Weisinger was not officially an editor on the latter.
