Aeon Flux movie took the challenge of adapting the brief TV series into a full film - and live action. It succeeded in having a better storyline, and even more visually interesting (if possible). Although it can easily serve as a standalone film, it does a service by a generous acknowledgement of the quirky storylines of the series.
