I mean the album has The Antipop, Natural Joe, Lacquer Head, Electric Uncle Sam, Coattails of a Dead Man all masterful tracks. And the list of guests on album is astounding, Tom Morello, Tom Waits, Fred Durst, Matt Stone. I like how Nu Metal the album sounds.

1 feb 2015 · Antipop is widely considered to be Primus pandering to the growing nu-metal genre of the late 90’s, and there’s no better example of this creative direction than Larry LaLonde’s guitar work. There’s no loose prog, no Satriani-esque solos to speak of. Antipop is extremely riff-driven, the antithesis of LaLonde’s guitar work.

One track, "Enola Gay", was recorded by Brett Eliason in fall 1996. Tom re-used the main riff of the song for the Audioslave single "Cochise." Morello also played lead guitar on three tracks of Primus' 1999 studio album Antipop. Morello worked with The Crystal Method on their 2001 album Tweekend.
