  1. In 1830 Prior Park College opened as a school for the first time. The College Chapel was built in the 1870's and designed by Joseph Scoles in the tradition of a Roman Basilica.   4. Prior Park College is an impressive Georgian stone building set in 57 acres of parkland, overlooking Bath and the hills beyond. The spacious grounds include astroturf pitches, tennis courts, and an indoor swimming pool. Indoor facilities include a modern sports centre, theatre and dance studio, as well as purpose-built, modern classrooms.

  5. Each House has its own area within the school, situated near the main teaching block. The Housemaster/mistress is supported by a team of tutors who look after their own small groups of students.   6. Typical costs involved are £150 for Bronze and £250 for Silver and Gold (guideline costs only).
