  1. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® is one cohesive school, founded by Lee Strasberg with the same educational mission and the same high standard of actor training. Both campuses teach Lee Strasberg’s Method in its purest form and offer the same core classes. Elective classes, however, will vary at each campus and are subject to change.

  2. Formerly a professor at NYU/Tisch Film & TV Department, Ms. Cohen has been a faculty member at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute for over 25 years. In October, 2008, Ms. Cohen was honored to represent the United States in the work of Lee Strasberg, at the international Methodic Theatrical Festival in Tuscany.

  4. METHOD ACTING. At the core of the Strasberg curriculum are the Method Acting classes. Students are required to take two Method Acting classes per 10- or 12-week term, each with a different teacher. These classes are designed to train the actor in Lee Strasberg’s systematic approach to acting, known throughout the world as The Method.

  5. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.
