Stonyhurst has developed an immersive, state-of-the-art virtual tour to provide prospective families with an opportunity to explore Stonyhurst College and Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall from the comfort and safety of their own homes. Using the latest digital technology, prospective parents and their families can take a tour of the facilities on offer.
The School Day. The year is split into three terms, Christmas, Easter and Summer, with the Christmas and Easter terms lasting approximately 14 weeks, and the Summer term lasting only around 8. The terms are broken up by a 1 or 2 week half-term holiday. Holidays are long - four weeks at Christmas and Easter and ten over the Summer.

Ian served as Headmaster of Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall, from 2014 until summer 2022. Ian now serves Stonyhurst as Director of Partnerships and is a member of Stonyhurst’s Senior Leadership Group. Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall was Ian’s second Headship in independent boarding and day schools.
