3 ott 1994 · Als einer von wenigen erhielt Rühmann 1977 erneut ein Großes Bundesverdienstkreuz, als Steigerung diesmal "mit Schulterband". Auch sonst wurden ihm zahlreiche Publikums- und Kritikerpreise sowie staatliche Orden und Ehrenzeichen zuteil. 1978 erschien das Buch "Heinz Rühmann erzählt vom Geschenk der Weisen und andren Begebenheiten".
Rühmann originally played leading men with the Munich Kammerspiele theater company in 1925 (he would continue to work occasionally on stage throughout his career). He made his feature film debut in The German Mother Heart (1926), but he didn't become a star until he appeared in his first talkie, Three From the Gas Station (1930).
3 ott 1994 · Heinz Rühmann half seiner ersten Frau bei der Ausreise nach Schweden und unterstützte sie dort weiter und rettete sie so vor dem Holocaust. Nach Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde 1946 im Rahmen der Entnazifizierung sein Auftrittsverbot aufgehoben. 1947 gründete er die Filmgesellschaft Comedia, die 1953 in Konkurs ging.
10 mar 1994 · Heinz Rühmann grew up in Wanne-Eickel and Munich and finished elementary school in 1913 in Lennep. From 1916 on he went to secondary school in Munich but did not take his final exam and attended actor's training instead. In 1920, Rühmann worked for Lobe and Thalia Theater in Breslau, from 1921 to 1925 at theatres Hanover, Bremen and Munich.
