Stéphane Audran (born Colette Suzanne Dacheville 8 November 1932 – 27 March 2018) was a French movie and television actress. She was known for her performances in award-winning movies such as Le charme discret de la bourgeoisie (1972) and Babette's Feast [3] (1987), The Big Red One (1980) and Violette Nozière (1978).
A French actress who made 23 films with her husband Claude Chabrol, Audran received a BAFTA nomination for her role in Chabrol’s Le Boucher (1970) and won for Just Before Nightfall in conjunction with Luis Bunuel’s The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972).
