There are two large kitchens on the first two floors and a smaller kitchen on the third floor. Licenses for these rooms are for 26 weeks only although additional accommodation can usually be arranged (at an extra cost) for students wishing to remain in College during the vacation. We admit between four and six students a year studying Economics at Murray Edwards, meaning that there are around a dozen undergraduates. Together with another dozen of graduates, they make for a strong, friendly and vibrant community.
Undergraduate accommodation. There is a variety of accommodation available at Murray Edwards College, some en suite, on the main College site and in houses nearby. All bedrooms contain a single bed, bedside table, desk, desk chair, easy chair, bookshelves and a fitted wardrobe. Kitchens are fully equipped with ovens, hobs, microwaves and fridges.
Mathematics at Murray Edwards College. We aim to admit six undergraduate students in mathematics each year, so they will be studying in a community of around 20 undergraduate students.
