Chtěla jsem nějaký psychologický film, rozhodla jsem se pro Stockholm, Pennsylvania, nebylo to tak silné, jak jsem čekala, ale i tak byl celý námět vhodný k zamyšlení. Další věc, co nehraje do karet je to, že si před filmem uděláte nějakou představu, jak ten příběh asi bude probíhat, a ono to tak ve skutečnosti i probíhá.
