28 ago 2008 · Biggest_Jacob Jul 13 2009. The Promotion is a comedy about two guys trying to get promoted in their supermarket jobs. They both want to be promoted, but of course only one spot is open so both men must fight to get the spot. The Promotion is a pretty funny movie. Its totally ridiculous; as one would expect, but its funny.
The last arc of the film is even weaker than the rest, with a botched resolution. It really could have been a new kind of Office Space but unfortunately, those throwing that comparison are absolutely mistaken and need some more perspective. There simply aren't any classic elements in The Promotion, while Office Space is a top 10 comedy of all time.
