In this sequel to the 1967 classic, Mr. Thackeray (Sidney Poitier) retires from teaching at a working-class London school and takes a job teaching at a to tough school in Chicago's notorious South Side.
Teacher moves to the inner city, takes on a class of "unteachable" students and tries to turn them around. The only thing is, the screenplay isn't bad for this made for TV film and Sydney Poitier and director Peter Bogdanovich raise this one to another level. It's actually quite effective. Jack is tired ★★★★.
