Come to Daddy è un film a forte rischio spoiler, nulla di particolarmente eclatante, ma con il cambio di direzione messo in maniera appropriata. Da un semplice tentativo da parte del figlio di rivedere il padre dopo molti anni, prende piede una storia che diventa sempre più assurda.
7 feb 2020 · To paraphrase director Ant Timpson, ‘Come to Daddy’ is for people who laugh when they see somebody walk into a glass door, then laugh even harder when they notice that the person got a bloody nose. Personally, I found the film to be a delightful and unexpected highlight of the Sydney Film Festival. - Jake Watt
7 feb 2020 · I wanted to give this movie a higher score as a lot of the individual parts that make up the film are great. The problem is these elements never real come together and congeal as a whole. While it didn’t seem like a surface level plot with just skin deep points of interest, it was a little disjunct in the way the story unfolds.
