Pont-l'Évêque ( French pronunciation: [pɔ̃ levɛːk] ⓘ) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France. It is known for Pont-l'Évêque cheese, a type of soft cheese, the oldest Normandy cheese in production. During World War II, the town was severely damaged by a two-day battle in August 1944.

Původně (1790) se depapartement jmenoval Orne-Inférieure („Dolní Orne “). Název Calvados se původně vztahuje ke skalnatému pobřeží u Arromanches. Podle legendy vznikl zkomolením názvu lodi španělské Neporazitelné Armady El Salvador, která zde měla kdysi ztroskotat.
