In section 47 of the 1967 Act (establishment of the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company), after subsection (3) there shall be inserted the following subsection— “ (3A) Section 18(2) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 (c. 33) shall apply to appointments under this section.
