Oban High School continues to provide Gàidhlig as a subject for this group. In addition to this, we aim to provide Cuspairean Sòisealta (Social Subjects) in S1. We are always looking for opportunities, through staff training and recruitment, to offer more subjects through the medium of Gaelic.
The Glencruitten Hostel provides support and accommodation for young people studying in Oban High School who live too far away to travel every day. Young people from the islands of Colonsay, Coll, Mull, Lismore, Iona, Kerrera, Gometra, Tiree, Shuna and Easdale as well as from Bridge of Orchy may stay at Glencruitten.
