9 ago 2009 · It isn't that good, sonically, but remember that Spector put much echo and EQ and that the result could be muddy as the target was to be effective on the AM. So, the source material isn't always great to begin with. The Phil Spector collection on CD is an improvement on many levels, as the transfers were done more carefully.
