Questo 'The Birth of a Nation' non è un remake del classico David Wark Griffith (secondo molti il più bel film della storia del cinema, secondo moltissimi il più ignobile). Ignobile perché razzista al cubo, era l'esaltazione del Ku Klux Klan e si concludeva (in gloria secondo Griffith) col linciaggio di un nero.

Il s'agit de l' adaptation des deux romans américains The Clansman: An Historical Romance of the Ku Klux Klan (en) et The Leopard's Spots (en) de Thomas F. Dixon Jr. (1905) [ 1 ]
