25 feb 2024 · She was admitted to The Samaritan Hospital for Women, in Westminster, on 9th August, where she was diagnosed as suffering from cancer. She would spend her last few days there, still shouting, still swearing, and still making those around her laugh. Rita Webb died on Sunday 30th August 1981, aged seventy-seven.
