They generally weigh around 1,000–3,000 kg (2,200–6,600 lbs), making them one of the largest land mammals in the world. The black rhino is notably larger than white rhinos, with males reaching up to 2m (7ft) tall at shoulder height and lengths of 3m (10ft).
