29 set 2006 · It is no surprise that "A Place Called Today" was made by the same people who produced the enormously popular "Ginger" trilogy, starring Cheri Caffaro. Similarities abound: absurd dialogue, embarrassingly bad over-acting, pedestrian camerawork, gratuitous nudity, and 30 minutes of film that could have been cut without anyone complaining (or even noticing).
