Given this and the "acid" feeling, the film fits perfectly in its era (1968) and is evocative of the Acid Western subgenre from those years. Whoever either is in search of such a niche product or has visited some of the shooting locations before (like I did) or is interested in the time and place of the film will probably enjoy this forgotten yet original production.
During the 1967 Israeli-Arab War, Capt. Uri Litman, commander of a small Israeli task force, is assigned to knock out a vital Arab radar installation just before a major Israeli offensive. 18 nov 2006 · While this film doesn't rank next to bigger budget, star-laden films about Israeli history, i.e. Operation Thunderbolt and Raid on Entebbe, is does have Robert Fuller (Laramie, Wagon Train, Return of the Seven, Emergency) doing an excellent job portraying an Israeli army captain assigned to lead a squad to destroy an Egyptian radar station.
