The collection is composed of masterworks from the elegant Hôtel d'Orrouer in Paris and the magical Château du Jonchet just a short drive south of the capital. These works will go under the hammer in Paris from June 14th to 17th (live sales) and from June 8th to 23rd, 2022 (online sales).

Hubert de Givenchy esteve no Brasil duas vezes: a primeira na década de 50, para o lançamento de uma coleção de algodão que havia sido encomendada pela Fábrica de Tecidos Bangu e a outra, em 1995, para abrir o Primeiro Congresso Brasileiro de Moda, promovido pelo Instituto Zuzu Angel e pela Faculdade Veiga de Almeida, no Rio de Janeiro.
Hubert James Marcel Taffin de Givenchy (20. února 1927 v Beauvais – 10. března 2018) byl francouzský aristokrat, módní návrhář, kostýmní výtvarník a návrhář kosmetiky. Od roku 1952 pracoval ve svém vlastním domě módy s názvem Dům Givenchy ( Maison Givenchy ).
