Official website. Yuji Nomi (野見 祐二, Nomi Yūji, born July 19, 1958 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese composer. His work includes the Studio Ghibli films Whisper of the Heart (1995) and The Cat Returns (2002), as well as the Kyoto Animation television series Nichijou (2011).

External links. Whisper of the Heart ( Japanese: 耳をすませば, Hepburn: Mimi o Sumaseba, lit. 'If You Listen Carefully') is a 1995 Japanese animated romantic drama film directed by Yoshifumi Kondō and written by Hayao Miyazaki based on the 1989 manga of the same name by Aoi Hiiragi.
The film's score was composed and arranged by Yuji Nomi, the protégé of acclaimed composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. In the film, Shizuku creates translations of the song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" (originally co-written and recorded by John Denver) into Japanese for her school's chorus club.
I sospiri del mio cuore è tratto dal manga shōjo Sussurri del Cuore di Aoi Hiiragi.
