Brief Synopsis. Famous scientists around the world have mysteriously disappeared and "Chronicle" reporter Polly Perkins, and ace aviator Sky Captain, are both on the investigation. Risking their lives as they travel to exotic places around the world, can the fearless duo stop Dr. Totenkopf, the evil mastermind behi.
In the process of launching the World of Tomorrow, Totenkopf's Ark would incinerate the world as we know it. Ultimately, and fortunately, Sky Captain and Polly managed to destroy the Ark in mid-flight, preventing the second-stage booster engines from igniting. In the process, the Ark's animal cargo was released in floating escape pods.
In fact, Sky Captain is designed and scripted like one. The characters are familiar types.
