This is situated at the east end of the Chapel, providing accompaniment for the Chapel Choir and leading the whole School singing. Royal College of Music Oundle School enjoys a unique formal partnership with the Royal College of Music whereby talented musicians from Oundle work with RCM professors and students for the mutual benefit of both institutions.

Gavin holds a regular position as a Gentleman of Her Majesty’s Chapel Royal Choir at Hampton Court Palace, singing at regular Sunday and week-day services and performing for royal occasions. He studied for an Undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and is in demand as a recording vocalist for film scores and TV/radio adverts.

23 apr 2016 · The Choir of Westminster Abbey is made up of 20 boys, all of whom attend the Abbey’s dedicated residential Choir School, and 12 professional adult singers, known as Lay Vicars. In addition to singing the daily choral services in the Abbey throughout the year, it plays a central role in the many royal, state and national occasions which take place at the Abbey.
The original foundation included 70 scholars and 16 boys called Quiristers whose duty was to sing in the Chapel. There are still 16 Quiristers today, upholding an unbroken tradition of over 600 years. They have been educated at The Pilgrims' School since 1966.
