Though not in itself an unusual narrative device, it's pasted into this film like a sticking plaster over a gushing wound, and the effect is less horrific or romantic than unintentionally hilarious. So, a certain somebody went on a crusade to spread the word of this film on tons of Hereditary reviews today, citing that Don't Go to Sleep had been ripped off. A tough sell to me, but their passion and/or obsession piqued my curiosity considerably, and sometimes that's just the kind of motivation I need to seek out something off the beaten path.
