13 gen 2013 · First up, we hear from Stacie Passon, writer/director of Concussion. Previously in her career, Passon worked as a commercial producer and director, creating media for numerous clients such as Warner Music Group, Donna Karan, IBM, and Sony Music Entertainment. Most recently, Passon produced Elliot King Is Third for director Rose Troche (Go Fish).
The feature-length writing/directing debut from Stacie Passon, Concussion, plays like a marriage between Belle De Jour and High Art, while at the same time applying its own tone and voice. Although I didn't love this film, I have a high amount of admiration for what Passon is doing with it.

1 nov 2013 · Concussion is a well-crafted, provocative film produced by veteran filmmaker Rose Troche and directed by newcomer Stacie Passon. The filmmakers were at the Castro Theater with cast and crew at the 36th Frameline Film Festival in June, following the film’s debut in February at the 63 rd Berlin Film Festival, where it won the Jury Teddy Award.
