Barnim II (c. 1277 – 28 May 1295) was Duke of Pomerania. Son of Duke Barnim I and his third wife, Mechtild of Brandenburg , Barnim's father died in 1278 when he was still a child. He was titular co-ruler with younger brother Otto I and his much older half-brother Bogislaw IV , in whose hands effective power lay.

Barnim XI (1501–1573; by some accounts Barnim IX), son of Bogislaw X, Duke of Pomerania, became duke on his father's death in 1523. Life [ edit ] Barnim ruled for a time in common with his elder brother George I ; and after George's death in 1531 he shared the duchy with his nephew Philip I , retaining for himself the duchy of Pomerania-Stettin .
In 1415, Pomerania-Wolgast was again split, with Pomerania-Barth being given to Duke Barnim VIII, who also inherited Rügen from his childless brother Swantibor IV in 1440. In 1451, Barnim VIII himself also died childless, and Pomerania-Barth was once again reunited with Pomerania-Wolgast, under Wartislaw IX .
Barnim III the Great (c. 1300 – 14 August 1368) was a Pomeranian duke from the House of Griffin. Life [ edit ] He ruled Pomerania-Stettin in the years 1344–1368, although he had been a co-regent of his father Otto I since 1320, taking a prominent part in the defence and government of the duchy.
