A vigilante è un film che porta in luce tematiche molto attuali, specie negli ultimi tempi, ma in maniera coerente il film rifugge qualsiasi tipo di sensazionalismo. L'atmosfera é gelida e trattenuta e chi si attendeva anche un certo compiacimento in quello che in fondo è vicino al genere rape & revenge rimarrà sicuramente deluso.
