Il se fait connaître du grand public avec son rôle de Monsieur Darcy dans la série Orgueil et Préjugés de la BBC en 1995, considérée comme la meilleure et la plus fidèle des adaptations du roman.
Colin Andrew Firth CBE, född 10 september 1960 i Grayshott i Hampshire, är en brittisk skådespelare och producent. Firth erhöll en Oscar för bästa manliga huvudroll för sitt porträtt av Georg VI i Tom Hoopers film The King's Speech 2010. Han har även mottagit en Golden Globe Award, två BAFTA Awards och tre Screen Actors Guild Awards .
