I finally got around to watching this Hong Kong classic that launched a dozen spin-offs/sequels (a lot of them also released in 1996!) and apparently got many youngsters joining the triad. That last fact is quite surprising as the film doesn’t only show the romanticized brotherhood life but also the violence, death, and backstabbing.
