Vlad II (en rumano: Vlad al II-lea ), también conocido como Vlad Dracul (en rumano: Vlad al II-lea Dracul) o Vlad el Dragón (antes de 1395 - noviembre de 1447), fue príncipe (o vaivoda) de Valaquia desde 1436 hasta 1442, y nuevamente desde 1443 hasta 1447. This nobleman had been allowed into the crusading Order of the Dragon (Dracul) by its creator, the Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund, to encourage him to defend both Christian east Europe and Sigismund’s lands from encroaching Ottoman forces and other threats.
