My most memorable were two nights at the Winter Palace in Blackpool in the summer of 1990, and our first concerts at Manchester Gmex in December in front of 10,000 fans each night. I had just had an operation on my foot and went on stage at Gmex with crutches.

  7. The Honkies. The Honkies were active 1987 – 1993. The only band I have been in as a member of a creative horn section with Caroline Kraabel and Kathy Hulme on saxes. The band also featured Richard Harrison on drums and later on John Edwards on Double Bass. We recorded a vinyl album and two CDs and a cassette album.
