Welcome to Jesus College Oxford. Located in the heart of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from the University’s libraries, science campus and humanities buildings, and with shops and restaurants on the doorstep, Jesus College combines the highest standards of academic excellence in teaching and research with a vibrant, inclusive and supportive community.
Jesus College (in full: Jesus College in the University of Oxford of Queen Elizabeth's Foundation) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. It is in the centre of the city , on a site between Turl Street , Ship Street , Cornmarket Street and Market Street .
Jesus College has had Welsh connections since its founding in 1571, although our students now come from all over the UK and abroad. In 2022, we opened the Cheng Yu Tung Building on our historic site, which houses new study and teaching spaces, graduate facilities, a multi-faith prayer room, and a café. We are due to open an onsite gym in 2024.
JESUS COLLEGE, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, offers over 100 free downloadable resources & links presenting the good life in the person, work, teachings & life of Jesus through "Eyes to See" visual & "Ears to Hear" audio resources from respected professors plus future gatherings live & online.

Fondata nel 1571 da Elisabetta I d'Inghilterra anche grazie all'aiuto dell'avvocato gallese Hugh Price, era fortemente predisposto ad accogliere gli studenti di teologia e quelli provenienti comunque dal Galles, ma col tempo questa peculiarità è progressivamente venuta meno.
The College was founded in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth 1, at the request of a Welsh lawyer and clergyman called Hugh Price, and our beautiful Dining Hall, Chapel, and Principal’s Lodgings are still used for their original purposes today.
