1 nov 2006 · In Harlem, New York. On May 30, 1964. I am an only child. My mother, Mary Morello, met my dad, Ngethe Njoroge, in Nairobi, Kenya. They then moved to Harlem where I was born. When I was about 18 months old, my parents split up. My mother got a job as a teacher in Libertyville, Illinois, which is where I was brought up.
