Richard Griffiths, OBE, (* 31. Juli 1947 in Thornaby-on-Tees, North East England; † 28. März 2013 in Coventry, West Midlands) [1] [2] war ein britischer Schauspieler bei Theater, Film und Fernsehen. Seine wohl bekannteste Rolle spielte er als Vernon Dursley in den Harry-Potter -Filmen.
