In seguito al divorzio dei genitori, avvenuto solo sei anni dopo la sua nascita, Lee si trasferì con la madre in Svizzera, a Wengen, dove si iscrisse alla Miss Fisher’s Academy, che gli permise di interpretare il suo primo ruolo recitativo nei panni di Tremotino.
