Celly Cel (born Marcellus McCarver) of Vallejo, California is an American rapper and hip hop producer, renowned for his Hardcore 'Gangsta Rap' lyrics. In the early 1990's, he propelled into stardom with help from fellow rapper, and friend E-40. E-40 lived just around the corner from Celly Cel and had just released his new The Click (2) album.

Well known for his smash hit "It's Goin Down" his albums reached #4 and #13 on Billboard Top 100 Hip Hop/R&B charts, and #26 on Billboard Top 200 which includes rock, country and all genres.
