Derek Wax is a British television executive producer. His work includes The Rig, The Sixth Commandment, Sex Traffic, Occupation, The Hour, Troy: Fall of a City, Capital, Humans, Lip Service, Tsunami: The Aftermath and From There to Here. He was a producer at Granada TV from 2001 to 2005 and an Executive Producer at Kudos from 2005 to 2017.
Lochhead shared the writing credit with David Farr, a British writer and theatre director, who wrote another draft of the film during its development but whom Lochhead does not personally know. He has been chosen to write for the upcoming Shadow of the Colossus movie.

He and Simon Reade are credited with re-establishing the Bristol Old Vic as one of the country's leading theatres. Prior to his arrival in Bristol, Farr was Artistic Director of The Gate Theatre in London from 1995-98.
