As participants return to their hometowns, they carry with them not just memories of a vibrant campus life but also a newfound understanding of their academic passions and the skills required to navigate the challenges ahead.
Brown Employee Dependent Scholarships are limited to dependents of Brown University benefits-eligible staff and faculty who have been employed by the university for at least six months. We do not have any scholarship opportunities available to international students for summer 2023. Brown Pre-College does not provide merit scholarships.

Bologna Porticos. The ancient city of Bologna is one of Europe’s great centers of learning and a superbly preserved jewel of medieval charm. Our program is based at the Brown in Italy office in Bologna, near our partner institution, the University of Bologna (UniBo), the oldest in Europe, with a proud history of dynamic, well-respected scholars like Dante, Petrarch, Erasmus, and Copernicus.
