James Allen’s Girls’ School is situated in the heart of Dulwich. It is located a five minute walk from North Dulwich rail station, and the 37 and P4 bus routes stop directly outside the school.
Our application window for September 2025 entry will open on Monday, 2 September 2024 with the deadline of Friday, 8 November for all Junior School registrations. School ends at the following times: Reception – 3:15pm; Year 1 – 3:20pm; Year 2 – 3:25pm. Co-curricular clubs finish at 4:00 – 4:15pm. Prep School. Pupils are welcome to arrive from 8:00am, when a member of staff will be on duty to supervise them. Pupils must be in their classrooms by 8:25am for registration.
James Allen's Girls' School, (JAGS), is an independent day school in Dulwich, South London. It is the oldest girls’ independent school in Greater London. The school is a registered charity. It was originally part of Edward Alleyn's College of God's Gift charitable foundation. This also included Alleyn's School and Dulwich College.
