Score at least a 1500 on your SAT (if you’re submitting test scores). Score at least a 34 on your ACT (if you’re submitting test scores). Write a very strong and compelling essay.
Should you wish to use an SAT EBRW or ACT English score to satisfy the English proficiency requirement, you must submit your score (s) as part of your admission application. SAT and ACT scores will become part of our overall review. Alternatively, you may submit results from the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test or PTE Academic examinations.
17 mag 2024 · If you have taken or plan to take the SAT/ACT and wish to report your scores, you are welcome to indicate this on the Common Application. For students who take either the SAT or ACT more than once and choose to report their scores, USC records the highest scores for each section of the test, even if achieved in different sittings.

Although we will accept scores from later sittings, we cannot guarantee that results will reach us in time to be considered by our admission committee.
